Allison knows that's a joke everybody. She played with a group of her dad's LINFIELD COLLEGE alumni friends one year. Wishing you a good season, Allison. Come on back this fall. Another alumni, Tom van Dorn, says he will show up this year and you can chat. Tom was a caddy on the LPGA many years and retired from being the head honcho at the caddy shack in Augusta. -Dennis Surles ( Costa Mesa, California ) 04/06/2010 |

Question: Hey Allison I am a big fan of golf and think you are amazing at it! I know your nephew Matt Hanna and is actually one of my best friends! I was wondering how to improve my drive by 50 yards instantly?! :) -David Kim ( Beaverton, OR ) 03/19/2010
Answer: Wow! I wish I knew the answer to that question! If I did I would be the longest hitter on the LPGA tour. There is no easy way to achieve that goal. I would say work on your strength, speed drills, and go to my trainer at the KOR gym in Beaverton... He will give you golf specific exercises to increase your speed and ability to hit the ball further. But remember that a lot of people who can hit the ball far, it is way more important to have a great short game!!!! My nephew and I are always practicing are short games together... He understands the importance of this aspect of the game. Good Luck! -Allison
Question: How has David Douglas High School helped you become a strong athelete? -The DDHS Highlander ( Portland, OR ) 03/15/2010
Answer: Sorry for the late response.... That is a tough question... I would say the diverse backgrounds of people at DDHS, and the incredible staff who prepared me for college... This is not a great answer... I would not print this... LOL. -Allison
